Relay for Life 2012

I am taking part in my local Relay for Life event again this year. I doubled my fundraising goal this time around and am hoping to reach and even exceed it. I will be having a different special in my online store for each month leading up to the event. Onward..

After a slight bump in the road my brother's Slytherin house scarf is well under way. I originally started with circular needles but I often find myself knitting way too tight. So, I decided to start on double pointed needles, knit a few rounds and then switch over to the circulars... worked like a charm. (No pun intended...) ;)

Charmed Knitting for Nerds

So, I'm busting out my favorite knitting book to start work on a scarf for my brother. Charmed Knits by Alison Hansel is the best knitting book for big ol' Harry Potter nerds like me. This will be the first project that I have completed using one of the super geeky HP inspired patterns. (I started a Weasley sweater... and somehow never found the energy to finish.) I am pretty excited to see how it turns out as it is knit in the round and I don't have very much experience with that. Should be interesting. I will post pictures of the finished product before I ship it off to Washington.

Stuffies!!

Owl stuffies! Available in a variety of colors. I make each one unique and different so the Stuffy you order is the one and only like it. When you select the color from the drop menu in my online store it is referring to the body color of the Stuffy.
